On Monday, May 17th, the Animal Liberation Front broke into an animal research laboratory at Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah. 13 animals were liberated: 2 doves, 5 finches and 6 rabbits. Slogans were written on the walls.
The activists reported:
"They are in a safe place and are looking much better. For the rabbits,
this was most likely the first time they could run freely, play with one another,
and feel the sun and grass. We had talked a lot about saving the animals from
the labs and finally decided to act. Sooner or later someone had to stand
up and try to do what was right for these animals."
