reported by activists in Spain:
"During the night of sunday 17 we went to Valverde (in Ciudad Real) to liberate the animals that were held in the animal research farm of the Research Institute of Hunting Resources (Instituto en Investigación de Recursos Cingéticos, IREC).
This organization is part of the CSIC and the Castilla La Mancha university and they perform animal experiments with the aim of helping hunters and breeders of animals for hunting. We found a huge cage divided in 6 sections that kept dozens of rabbits. Each one of the doors of each section were opened. We also opened the cages of the partridges, including the room-cages of breeding and reproduction. A total of about 200 partridges had a chance to escape.
