"On the night of Friday the 28th of January, the Animal Liberation Front rescued 16 pullet (adolescent) hens from a run-down battery egg farm north of Auckland.

These tiny hens were already de-beaked and crammed into small wire cages, each containing approximately 30 birds.

These were the lucky few. For the countless pullets on factory farms nation wide, only two options remain; the horrors of the battery farm or a visit from us!!! Already 38 hens have been rescued this year and this is only the beginning.

Animal abusers beware. WE ARE WATCHING YOU."
