anonymous communique, reported on Indymedia UK:

"After the recent death of bernard matthews, our group was inspired to put into action something we had been talking about for some time. Late at night we visited one of his 'farms'. There was very little security, and it was easier than we had expected to get inside, and bring some birds back out with us. As we found new homes for these, even more homes were found, so, over a couple of weeks we went back again, and again. In total 130 turkeys were rescued and rehomed. Thats 130 turkeys that will live on, through xmas and into the new year....which is more than can be said for old bernard. Now that is bootiful.
