UPDATE: Since the attack, Carr has made an official statement saying they have dropped HLS.

On Tuesday the 23rd, the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club was paid a visit from the ALF. Their nicely kept club area was completely covered with red paint and painted slogans. There was not a foot of the club that was left untouched.

Why the MBYC?

Both Walter Carucci and Stephanie L. Bass of Carr securities frequent the club. Walter, his wife Clara and Stephanie are the acting president and administration to Carr Securities and began on Monday to make a market in LSRI. By Tuesday morning we could see the "fruits" of Carr's efforts, displayed in dozens of orders that LSRI would have otherwise never seen, translating into hundreds of thousands of dollars gained by HLS so that they can continue brutalizing animals.

This was unacceptable.

Let this be a message to any other company who chooses to court HLS in their 9/7/05 entrance into the NYSE . If you trade LSR*, make a market for LSR* process orders for LSR*, or purchase LSR* shares you can expect far worse treatment. The message is simple, DON'T TOUCH HLS!
