Reported by activists in Italy:

"Two activists reported staying 16 hours non-stop looking for traps where birds are caught illegally in the isle of Ponza (south of Italy). This little isle is famous for being a host of hunters and illegal trappers, almost every garden or allotment has traps!

The activists reported of:
-6 birds freed (one without a leg)
-2 birds died after trying to cure them
-293 traps found
- a bird attracting device found and taken

Unfortunately also 32 birds dead in their traps have been found. On april-may there will be a full month anti-hunting camp, where activists will stay and leave to find traps. This is not the first time it happens."
